First Newsletter

The K/1 Class News

We had an exciting first week at school.  Everyone is starting to learn about our rules and routines such as sitting in the circle, cleaning up, or forming a line at the door.  Well done!

The students have enjoyed getting to know each other this week and have had lots of fun learning about names and spending time in nature. They are also learning how to play safely with each other in the gym and outdoors.

On Wednesday, September 20 there will be an early dismissal and students will be ready for pick up at 11:30. This is to facilitate Parent-Teacher Interviews in the afternoon. Please sign up on the sheet we will provide by the classroom door next week.

All the children have had a great start to their school year.

Thank you to those of you who have already sent in school supplies, class fee ($20), planner fee ($6.50) and student information forms. There are more copies of the supply list outside the classroom door if you need one.

This will be the only official newsletter of the year. Please visit my blog page to see updates and photos. I will try to update the page at the end of each week. Here is the link to the blog:

We have a wonderful and enthusiastic group of children in our class.  I know that it will be a happy and exciting year for all of us!
