Happy Halloween!
What a beautiful week. It was sunny, yet cold.
On Monday we continued to learn about printing and practiced the lowercase letter ‘e' and worked on numbers. We visited the library and chose a new book. In PE we played cooperative games and then played in the forest.
Tuesday we learned a bit more about the life cycle of the pumpkin while also learning about the word, “see”. Later we had our oral language groups and then spent time with our special trees, observing seasonal changes.
On Wednesday the kids wrote in their journals about what they planned on dressing up as for Halloween, then made monster puppets and had math with Ms. Lamirand. Later we made leaf prints outside.
Thursday was Halloween! The kids all looked great in their costumes. We enjoyed a fun morning doing math and participating in the costume parade. Later we made a “witches brew” and went to Music. In the afternoon the class enjoyed all of the creative shared snacks (thank you!!) and we had a Halloween party. Fun!
