Newsletter #34

 June 6th Edition of

The K/1 Class News

Hi everyone, here are the highlights from our week! There were still a few kids missing due to ongoing illness. I hope to see everyone back next week!

We started the week reviewing our reading skills and wrote descriptive butterfly poems. We continue to learn about Canadian money and the concept of value and equality.

The seasonal traditions projects are nearly done, and they are looking great!

As the weather warms up, (finally) it’s time to pack away the winter jackets and break out the hats for hot outside time.

We are down to the final weeks of school for the year. Please keep track of the upcoming events.

Important Dates to Remember:

June 11th Fun Day! (afternoon)

June 13th PAC BBQ

June 24th Year End Whole School Picnic at Drummond Park (Families are welcome to join us!)

June 25th Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration

June 26th End of K/1 celebration slideshow (2pm…you are invited! Please try to send a family friend or relative if you can't be there)
