November 9th Edition of
The K/1 Class News
Hello Everyone!
Another week flies by. Ms. Cheryl started on Monday and has been enjoying getting to know the kids. I told her she is lucky to have such a great group of children to learn from. We are also lucky to have Ms. Cheryl!
Some themes we are working on is story sequence/oral storytelling, counting collections, seasonal changes, underhand throwing and more.
The class learned and performed a poem, “Little Poppy” for our Remembrance Day ceremony. They were so good!
Our time in nature is always a highlight. One special activity we did was to pick a favourite tree. The children will observe and visit their tree over the year.
Next week’s Show and Tell letter will be ‘G’.
